radio airplay – the following list before sending the Demos

How radio airplay is never an easy task. It is often very difficult to contact radio presenters or DJs, contact details and get them interested in music of your band. If you manage to get in touch with a contact address to send music to there is no guarantee that I will play – or even listen. To improve your chances of getting your work heard to ensure that they have complied with the following guidelines.

Make sure your demo sounds better than it can be. Get it professionally mixed and mastered to make sure it sounds better. </ li>

sure to send your music to radio stations or machines that play music and style. This will increase your possibilities for providing Airplay heard. </ Li>

radio stations and find niche markets to go to a much more specific and potentially a better response rate. If your demo fits perfectly with the style of the DJ plays you may be back in a more than just playing their song on the radio. </ Li>

Not what you can order your presentation. Send an email. Write early. Call advance if necessary. </ Li>
Address
their demo to the person you want the demo with your name. Personally addressed mail is much more likely to open. </ Li> </ ul> If you do not receive a response within a week or two, follow with a quick email and direct your promotional package.

To increase your chances of listening to your work, why not offer them a download link in your email monitoring? Some may be on the move or pushed for time and would be easier for them to download their songs on the train or at lunch instead of digging through a stack of CDs.

Anything you can do to make your demo as accessible as possible is worth doing if you're going to cut through the rest of the stack of demos. The main point here is to make things as easy as possible to its goal of DJs and hosts for their work and increase their chances of getting your music heard.
